OMG Erin, I have the SAME problem. I'm always having to get back out, figure out why it's not allowing me to pull it out to buckle up. I'm forever untwisting it. It's really annoying! Ugh. One of these days, I'll get around to taking the damn thing out and figuring out wth is going on in there. Lol.

Another thing that irks my nerves.. is the damn bug gut stains on my front bumper. Well, there were there, before I did the swap to the SVT bumper, but it seriously.. was like yellowish, and no matter how many times I washed it.. it wouldn't come off. Pissed me off to no end. Ugh.

My old girl has the same seatbelt problem, but only on the passenger's side! :p

I'd also like to know how to prevent getting water spots on the decklid, especially underneath the spoiler... water pools there like crazy and no matter how much I try, I STILL get water spots. Ugh, I might have to try removing it when I do a detail to see if that helps, but that sounds like a lot of work, lol!! I'm sure the car being BLACK does not help, haha.

YEP Bart's has the same issue. I have to have the door open in order to buckle myself in ..lol

And as for water spots ..I'd just make sure you are running a towel underneath that thing real good every time you wash. Idk ..if I can't see it it doesn't bother me :uh: is that bad? :p. I don't have any water spots there, although my car is basically 99% garaged and has been since her birth lol

Mine stops the seatbelt alert noise if you just buckle it in then you can take it right back out. Mine you don't have to leave buckled like the newer cars.

After I wash Mariah the keyhole on the trunk lid leaks water for about 15 minutes...then I get a trail of water down the lid onto the bumper etc. What a pain in the butt!

Roxxi sleeps in the garage as well, it's probably because she's black and EVERY spot shows! Water collects in that decklid, and when I start drying, water streaks EVERYWHERE and it is impossible to even get my adnormally SMALL hands under the spoiler to get the darn water out! I'm telling you, DSG is easy! (but you know that now that you get to work with Bart's car!)

yeah mine is alot quicker on dry time. you don't need to get your hands in there ..use a towel and with hands holding each end of the towel ..go back and forth!

the CAI i have on the neon... when it gets warmer out and more humid, for some reason at idle it makes this really loud humming noise. i think it has something to do with the resonance of the air. but its so bad when i'm sitting in traffic because all the cars around me can hear it too! i'm almost tempted to just take it off and revert back to the stupid giant stock airbox :(

one thing that really gets under my skin is that no matter where you go and where you park to keep all the idiots away from your vehicle someone always has to park near you and sometimes those people end up hitting your car and act like its no big deal... it makes me so mad when i come out and find scuffs on my paint from the moms and kids at my work with their dang on baby carriers and strollers and them letting the kids jump out of the cars and swing the doors open like these is nothing to it..

oh just wait til your at the carwash and the kids are playing BASKETBALL and the mom is completely oblivious that their throwing the ball and hitting cars with it. That happened to me a few years ago and I had to go up to this mom and be like ...do you want to pay for my door panels lady? Seriously?

ok I have a good one for ya'll. I cant open my sun roof all the way and close it without having to look ike a idiot. I have to push a flat bad down from the outside while leaning in to hit the close button to get it to shut. it did always do this until a yr ago.

When we smogged her a year ago, she came up as a GT when they scanned her VIN. The only thing we can think of is that one of the previous owners did a swap or something.

Maybe their machine is messed up. I've been given paperwork with my car listed as an 8 cylinder too.

omg that drives me nuts. also when they park so close I have to try to squeeze my kids into the car b/c they are parked right up next to the door. ok can they not see the bulky carseats in my back seat????

b/c of idiots in parking lots my b/f refuses to go birthday and christmas shopping for me anymore. one yr he parked way out in the parking lot at a target and when he got back to the car his driver door was hit. someone drove into it and left the scene. the bad thing about parking that far out is the video survelience can not see that far out if something like that happens.

You have to pick your battles. Sometimes it's better to park as close to the front as possible. The further out you park and if your car is all by its lonesome, the more some people think you are a jackass and hit you purposely or park as close as they possibly can to you. I've seen it a dozen times. I don't park my car like that for that reason. I will just find the last spot that is open next to someone and park there.

I try to find a curb to park next to. well he had owned a 05 nissan specv at the time and it was still new when they hit him. thankfully the insurance covered it and the repair shop did a awsome job fixing the door.

That could very well be! She gets smogged again next year and I think we will take her to another place to see what comes up... just for the heck of it!

They might have enterered in in wrong, because our truck came up as a harley davidson editon, and its no where near one lol not many people swap from v8 to v6 though

That's what threw me... I couldnt understand why anyone would swap a V8 for a V6. When the guy smogged the car and we saw it said GT, we both laughed and told them they were mistaken...it is, without a doubt, a V6. The guy that smogged the car just looked at us and said he scanned the VIN and thats what it said. Nevertheless, she is a V6.
