So um, yeah, the left side of my gauge cluster does not light up bright anymore. Very bad thing to discover when driving home at midnight when you are 2 hours away from home! It is very dim, to the point where you cannot see the fuel gauge at all at night.

My idea is to replace all the bulbs with LED's. I've seen people do it with bright white and blue bulbs, but I am kinda thinking of doing red. Sounds ricey in my head, but I think I could pull it off since the interior is already red. How does that sound to the rational thinking people? (No one better say PINK bulbs, okay! )

So how complicated is the install?

hardest part is getting the cluster out lol

The bulbs just pop in like normal bulbs. I got mine from here:http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2F1157.htm

Not sure how the clusters are put together on the newer ones, but i've seen it done, and it isn't hard on them either.
