Hello everyone..... !! and say welcome to the first W-body member!!!
My name is Andrea and I'm originally from the Detroit Area.... however I have now moved to the quad cities area of Iowa for professional school..... I've grown up around cars and going to car shows with my dad.... but it wasn't until a few years ago that I started surrounding myself with them and learning more and more....
I started out by joining a car club that cruised Woodward and Gratiot and a few other main Detroit streets and they became my family.... and even now a few years later after the club forums died down we still call each other and hang out when we can.... I've also taken a few auto classes at a local college so that I could get a general idea of what I needed to know in order to really dive into doing work myself.... since those classes and with the help of close mechanic friends I am proud to say that I do all my own maintenance and even repairs!!
I'm a big monte carlo freak as well... my main passion.... and I am Vice President for a Monte Carlo club that began in Detroit... we have members from all over the US and Canada as well as members from other MC clubs.... if you'd like to check out my club you can find it at www.montemill.com
and now about my baby..... :D
shes a 2004 Monte Carlo SS in victory red.... I put my K&N intake on her about a few months after I got her in 2004 and have made plenty of plans since then...... I've been so busy with school that not many of them have come across..... I've got an SLP grille and a few other small appearance mods that I've done myself..... painting the grille and the engine cover... repainting the badges.... I just ordered my exhaust (THANK GOD!!!!!:D) so I'm hoping to have that on in the next few weeks... and I'll post pics and vids of that.....
