2011 Ford Mustang

has 305 HP, gets 30 mpg (highway), and has a six-speed automatic. Yeah, I feel gypped. Might have to get this when I'm out of college. :D
Still looks the same though. 305 hp > ugly butt.

If I were to buy either one based on pure looks I would pick the new Camaro....But I just love my Mustangs :p

I love the new Mustang. My 2006 GT is my dream car and I'd never sell it, but I drove the 2010 GT and it's an amazing car, and the '11 sounds even better. GT500 parts on a sixer? ya kidding me? Woot!

I also drove the Camaro and it looks better than it drives. Still I wouldn't throw one out of my garage. It's just not a Mustang and that's that.

The refinements in the handling, power and comfort of the new Mustangs are huge steps forward from the S197, and light years ahead of the new edge and SN95s. Everyone will like what they like, but if you want to keep hating the new Mustang, don't dare to drive one!

I really want to test drive the new ones, but I might wait to test drive the 2011 instead! I'm afraid if I do that I'll hate my car even more.

There is just something about the older ones - I drove a 2007 GT and although I loved the power, I still wished it were a new edge.

Every Foxbody I have ever driven was shaky and the suspension felt like mush. Just my experience. I like a stiff car, although my car is way too stiff. Oh God the convertibles are awful! It feels like the windshield is buckling in towards you! And do not even get me started on the interiors! UGH!! But hey, if you want cheap power, yeah, Foxbodies are great! I mean, they are lightweight and cheap to work on, they just are not my cup of tea. :p My next door neighbor is trying to sell me his black notch, he wants to trade me for mine! I told him yeah, good luck with that, lol! It all depends on personal preference. My car is a fat pig, the steering has no play, the suspension is stiff as a board... hahaha!

But yes, back to 2011's, lmao!

You are kidding, right? Everyone I know freaking worships Foxes. I think that must be why I secretly loathe them. That and they are box cars. :rofl:

It's okay Adam, everyone has different preferences! lol! Half the people I meet hate my car, and I really could give a rip because I freaking love it, despite it being fat and slow, hahaha.

PS, both the Foxes I drove were well over 150k and probably had worn out suspension components, perhaps I just assumed they were all like that. But the convertible... well, I have heard from many Fox owners about the buckling, so I assume this is a problem they combed out before the SN chassis, because my convertible has the least amount of body flex and shakes of ANY convertible I have ever driven, (even less than a Miata or a Solstice for that matter!) excluding some German stuff I have driven.

well the fuel economy and HP sound positive, I am dissapointed that my '06 V-6 only gets 24 25 on a good day.......Elmer is paid for now and I do NOT want to go into debt again anytime soon so I guess I'll just look and enjoy Elmer and I do love driving my car.....

OH I know! The people love foxes! Just look at a dragstrip! FORD never gives them credit, have you ever seen a foxbody on any of the mustang Documentarys? NOPE they go from 78 right to 94! EVERYTIME!!! I even wrote ford about it!
