It sure isn't the POS Taurus that I had in the early 90's. Check out those wheels

Not bad....heard of it, just hadn't seen pics. Reminds me of the new Chevy Malibu

Looks pretty sweet! I wonder if Yamaha is going to make the motor again for the SHO

suppse to be something totally new not like the old taurus ( i figured if they like the taurus before they would have never stopped making them ) ...But Fusion gave the old Taurus to much competion ....

Well I know the 500, didn't start selling.. untill they changed the name of it to Taurus.

Yup the Taurus was a very reliable car... and they couldn't see the 500 until they did some changes to it and made it a Taurus.

I always liked the Taurus (even if it is a Ford). But I never cared for the JellyBean body...

My mom's car and last car were both Taurus....I don't think they look too bad for a family car at all!

Exactly. let me just say that I almost wrecked a 500 that I rented while my car was in the shop  all I did was make a left turn (probably mustang style ;)) and it went all over the place like I lost complete control of the steering. They are big ol' boats!

Any taurus I've ever driven has been way comfy tho! I think this one might have a chance!

The first and second generation SHO's were both V6's... and were actually pretty stout! A 220 hp V6 was nothing to sneeze at back in the day... and were much more reliable than the Yamaha V8's.

Caleb's former boss had a 3rd Generation with the Yamaha V8 in it. The thing is surprisingly quick, and sleeper as heck since no one knows what the heck it is, only that it looks a little "weird"... haha.

The new Ecoboost has me excited... but the Taurus is tooooo big of a car for me.
