New bulletin board site for Houston peeps

Hey Octane Girls!

It's been awhile since I've stopped by - been busy collaborating on a new website for HOUSTON www.HoustonCarScene.net. The sole purpose of this new site will be to function as a bulletin board for PUBLIC car-related events, especially those benefitting charities.

Most events are promoted word of mouth, and we'd like to help spread the word that there is more to do with the family than shopping at the mall or seeing a movie.

Please, feel free to visit the site or post up an event. We are NOT here for backyard BBQs or late night street meets. We want to unify the car community and let the public see what great people are in their community. And perhaps, posts on the site will lead to membership expansion for contributing sites.

Another thing that makes us different, we ENCOURAGE our members to list their favorite home sites in their sigs or intro posts. It can only help, not hinder, the interest level for everyone.

So please, feel free to come by, say where you heard about the site, and tell us a little about you and your home forum. That's what we're here for.

Well ladies, it's been 2 weeks since I last stopped by, and we've been busy adding events to the HCS.net calendar. There is a TON of stuff coming up to do and see in Houston. Hope some of you have had a chance to check it out and tell your Texan friends......
