there is a logic behind them, but yeah in all actuality they are for appearance. I think they look great on our bodystyle. I only like them on the 99-04. And it is "retarded".:)

I don't like them, I think they are a big pain in the butt, for the fact you do hit a parking curb deal you take the chance of ripping it off, scuffing it up and since you car is lowered if you drive thru a dip in the road it will rub.

I actually really like them on our body style, but that's just me! I think mine's been in the garage for months and hasn't been put on yet lol! I just like the fact that it'll cover that weird gapping thing going on...I still don't know why Ford did that!
