Just wondered if anyone was going to Buick vs. Ford down in Noble, OK this year. It's the weekend of Nov 1st. Everytime I've gone, I've had a good time, but not really sure if we're going this year. Anyone planning on heading there...especially all you TX folks!?

Dude I think it'd be awesome! It's only about 2.5 hours from us. Noble, is just right outside of OK City...last time we went, we just got a hotel room Fri night and stayed, then drove home Sat night!
I was just thinking because it's somewhat of a "meet in the middle" location for a lot of us, it could be fun!

They'll be people out at the track on Friday night but it's just t/o's so you can make passes, not really part of the actual event. That is kind of a long drive for you :(

Actually I think we're just going to leave early Saturday and drive back that night. I figured we'd stay Friday night prior but no one else was too keen on that idea :( The closest hotels are about 10 min from the track (at least where I've stayed before) but you probably wouldn't wanna stay in that area because it's farther north. It would probably be easier for the TX people to stay farther south toward OKC I'm guessing! I'm so excited for this! It's a fun event...or at least I think so lol!

well realistically I could do that too, since it's only a few hours but it'd be nice to have a buddy along for the ride if I do that :)

Ok I've also e-mailed to ask if we need to reserve spectator spots for our cars or do it when we show up :)

No it's not even roped off for spectators vs participants...it's just one huge open lot! :D The staging lanes are separate at the north end of the lot, but it's a really good sized area for parking....AND they have an actual building with bathrooms...no port-o-potties!!!!!!!!!

wow, I didn't realize you had been there already but on their site they say it's extra for spectator parking. I just usually do go for that because I don't like to be too far away from the car for that long lmao:p especially at a track.
