Hey, Deanna here...great to find Octane Girls alive and kicking! I would love to do a feature on my site at WomensAutomotiveNetwork.T V (http://www.womensautomotivenetwo rk.tv) :rawk:

If anyone has a ride for sale, we have a new national classified car ad section on video...so get out your video takers and email them over to me directly. Let me know that you saw this deal on Octane Girls and there will be no charge for your posting! Be the first ones to post your car for sale on video there, no charge!

If you have any other videos that you want to share on my site, we welcome your car buying and selling experiences, road trips, fix it tips, show off your ride, and so on...email them to me at SpiritedMaverickMedia@yah oo.com so I can get you up with everyone else!

I grew up on muscle cars in the 70's and was always at the track. Now I test cars and film them at the auto shows. I covered the LA Auto Show last year and was invited back to cover it again this November.

My current ride is a vintage '95 BMW 318is with a chip and she handles as if she is a part of my being. I'm also into Jeeps and taking them to places they say they are supposed to be able to go...I always had a V8 Mustang, Camaro or Corvette in my younger years and won several races "off the record" after class.

If any of you read StangPlanet.com's last newsletter, David wrote an article on my 1979 Mustang in High School...I had the very first body style change in California that also had the 5.0...I then had the first convertible model in the 5.0 that came with a 4speed stick...no 5th gear. We had to put weights in the trunk near the wheel well because the Mustang had too much power for the size of the wheel base...traction was better with sand bags...then came the SVO Mustang (Special Vehicle Operation) designed straight from the race track...it had a true turbo with an intercooler that would get so hot, you could put a slice of bread on it and make toast, no kidding...at Sears Point Raceway, she could take a hairpin turn at 85mph as if she were on rails.

I was doing well, staying ahead of the patrol cars for awhile until California gave the CHP the GT Mustangs and lessons at the race track on how to drive them in the '80's...I had to barter my way out of a few that caught up with me...especially when I had my friend's 1981 Corvette (named Elvira, Princess of Darkness - she was midnight blue/black)...I was very lucky, many, many times.

Looking forward to hearing all about all of you and your stories! Please contact me! :hatoff:
