Anyone going to BMC Nationals in Oct??

Well, I was asked to cover the BMC Nationals event, which will be in Kansas City, KS in mid October.....just wondered if anyone would be attending!

Isn't it sad that I just keep thinking how kick a$$ it would be to get a photo of my car in front of a ton of black Mustangs lol ;)

I was thinking about going for maybe a day or two, but with gas prices going the way they, more than likely not

Jason and I might but it will also be just for a day or two because this hooch took off work the same week and we can't have more than one off at a time :(

I'm pretty much gonna say NO. 3.55/gall for premium (and rising) and 4.00/gal for Diesal (and rising) for the tow rig, yea, can't afford it. LoL

Well, it's only about 2.5-3.0 hours from where I'm at in Kansas, so it's not much of a different drive than me going to visit my family ya know?

I should be there Friday and Saturday for sure, but I'm not sure about Thursday just yet (I believe Thurs. is the day they have Heartland in Topeka set up).

I will not be attending this year due to circumstances beyond my control as I am just a tad far away and IF I do happen to be in the USA during that time frame, Sasha will probably be being worked on... I will perhaps visit TX during that time frame!!!!!.. SO its a big IF

I did go last year.. and it was fun for the most part.. with the exception of the oxygen thieves.. but those are everywhere

But everyone should look into going.. The BMC puts on some great things. I'm a member of em, and they do know how to have a good time....

if you have cobra your guarentee to win color blind. even thought there are cleaner 6 bangers in that class

I don't know what the guys and Lisa have worked out, but if there is a fee involved for me to be there covering the event (which I seriously doubt since BMC will be in an issue), I wouldn't be the one resposible for it. I'm very fortunate that they asked me to write about it!
