Welcome to the Octane Girls community! We'd like to keep this site family friendly and fun, so like most communities you may visit, there are some simple guidelines to follow. Failure to do so could result in the removing or editing of posts, temporary bans, or account terminations.
Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling:
Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the boards. Treat others as you would expect them to treat you, and do not bash other members or other online communities. Posting topics specifically designed to provoke a negative response from someone (aka trolling) will not be tolerated and you will be banned.
Posting threads specifically to cause a debate/stress on the board are prohibited and will result in account termination, Octane Girls is not a debate board.
If you are easily offended by discussions about religion and other highly opinionated topics we suggest you stay out of those topics. Do not downgrade someone’s opinion simply because you don't agree with them. Conduct yourself in a mature and respectful manner. Bashing this site and it's members elsewhere, is also means for immediate account termination.
Off-Topic Forum Posting
There is no major punishment for off-topic posters, but let's be honest, it's annoying and rude. If you have something to say but it really has nothing to do with the current thread you are in, please open a new thread for it. All non car related chat should be posted in the area labeled Octane Lounge. Off-topic posting elsewhere is subject to be moderated and/or deleted. Though for the most part you may post about anything there, please remember that political and other highly sensitive subject matters are also subject to moderation for the better of the site as a whole.
Spamming
Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain a higher post count, or just to annoy others will not be tolerated. Commercial spamming and advertising are just as unwelcome.
Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User('s)Account
Absolutely no impersonating other members or staff is allowed. You will be banned.
Nudity/Porn
This is a family site. Absolutely no nudity, sexually explicit materials, suggestive pictures or threatening behaviors. Posts may be reviewed, moderated, and/or removed by the site staff at any time. If you are found to be posting anything of this nature whether on the forum, or through PM, you WILL be banned, no questions asked.
LANGUAGE USAGE
This is an all ages forum, please use your manners and keep your foul language/curse words to yourself.
Classifieds
This area is for selling/seeking parts/goods. If you don't have something constructive to add to the thread, please refrain from posting. OctaneGirls.net accepts no responsibility for private party transactions. All sales are "buyer beware."
Signatures
Signature images are allowed, and must meet aforementioned guidelines on content. Size of signature should be no larger than 500x150 pixels, or 600x100 pixels. If you post a signature deemed inappropriate or offensive, it will be removed. If there is a second occurrence, your signature permissions will be removed.
Reporting Abuse
If you have observed behavior on OctaneGirls.net that you find offensive, please inform the Administrator (admin@octanegirls.net) and/or a Moderator (http://octanegirls.net/forums/showgroups.php) ASAP and refrain from heightening the situation by participating.
